Showin Some Love: A Mommy's Life
Sometimes the saying "When it rains, it pours" is meant in a good way! I am so loving this new blog community I've invited myself to joi I cannot believe how awesome all the bloggers I've found thus far are and I just have to tell you about the newest: A Mommy's Life. Whitney was so sweet to feature me in her Pinterest Loves post this week!

Showin' Some Love: The Krazy Coupon Lady
Since I've mentioned TLC's new show Extreme Couponing a couple times now I think it's time to Show Some Love for non other than the star of the show, Joanie aka The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Joanie is part of the two-mom blogging team that operate TheKrazyCouponLady.com, one of the best and most well-known couponing sites online today. Joanie appeared in the pilot for Extreme Couponing, the episode that started the whole debate over couponing and brought recognition to just how much money can be saved by shopping smart & with coupons.
I personally think that Joanie is a perfect example of who should be featured on Extreme Couponing and got a bad rep based on the other overly extreme shoppers featured on her episode. Many of us coupon out of necessity- we need to save money but don't want to sacrifice certain elements of our lifestyle that we've grown accustomed to. That is why Joanie started couponing. (You can see a clip of Joanie's episode here, scroll to bottom of page and select the video titled "Dumpster Diving for Coupons.")
Some of the shoppers featured on the show exhibit, in my non-professional opinion, characteristics of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. One woman appeared as if she was going to have a panic attack if she didn't get to purchase 300 boxes of pasta, or something crazy like that. Some also appeared to have hoarder like tendencies. Others, like Joanie, coupon for items their family needs, uses or can donate and enjoy couponing as a hobby. Some of the things she said on the show were taken out of context, but I'll let her explain that in more detail here.
Anywho, I think Joanie and Heather are fantastic and I love their site. I read it everyday and get some of my favorite couponing/shopping/money saving tips from them. You should definitely check The Krazy Coupon Ladies out (no pun intended)! If you are new to couponing, stop first at their Beginners page. Enjoy!

Showin' Some Love: Infarrantly Creative
I just discovered the most awesome craft blog: Infarrantly Creative. The blogger behind it all, Becky, makes me want to run home and sew something, paint something, redecorate a room, make something out of chocolate and pick up a piece of furniture on the side of the road and turn it into something wonderful! If you have children this is for sure a blog you should check out! I'm going to have a child just so I can make his/her teacher something crafty from Becky! When you head over do also check out her amazing blogroll. It's seriously the best online- I discovered so many great blogs from Infarrantly Creative's blogroll!

Showin' Some Love! Royal Edition!
I did not wake up at 5am to watch the Royal Wedding, but since Good Morning America is part of my morning routine I did get to catch a bit of it. I will be happy to have our regular news back soon but I love a good wedding and it makes me happy to see couples in love. So, today I am going to post a few Royal Wedding Related posts!
To jump start the day I am going to Show Some Love for another of my favorite Bloggers, her Royal Highness Herself, The Yard Sale Queen!
I found the Yard Sale Queen a couple years ago when googling tips for having a successful yard sale. Years later, and even when I'm not planning a yard sale, I still read her blog. She has a great sense of humor (sort of dry, like mine, and very sarcastic) and finds awesome deals. She keeps me motivated to keep digging for treasures!
Her website has a lot of great tips on how to yard sail and sell and her blog is where she posts all the fabulous items she finds yard sailing as well as general tips on spending less and saving more. So be sure to check Her Royal Highness out soon!

Showin' Some Love!
Since the '50s housewives shared recipes, household tips and cups of sugar I think it's only fair that I share with you my absolute favorite blog in the whole, wide world:

I think Mrs. 1950sHousewife would have loved Collin and her family of bargain bloggers! Hip2Save: Not Your Grandma's Coupon Site is (in my opinion) the best couponing blog online today. Collin regularly posts all the best shopping deals online and in a variety of stores everyday and does so with the best sense of humor. Seriously- just watch one of her videos!
Hip2Save is a great site for newbie coupon shoppers. The new show Extreme Couponing may scare you but I promise you will not be scared away by Collin. She will teach you all you need to know to save your family money without requiring a second garage for your toothpaste stockpile. Hip2Save is the site that really got me into coupon shopping and I still read their posts everyday on my Google Reader. So check it out and be certain to watch Hip's Video Series.
